The trees around us

The term ‘urban forest’ has now arisen to focus our attention on the trees growing in towns and cities; they, too, have value as part of the landscape, whether young or old, short or tall. It is enough that, whether ordinary or magnificent, they are there creating a sense of place within the urban environment and offering us direct encounters in our city streets and parks with the fascinating variety of nature.

The website is mostly about these trees and the treescape they form, their trials and tribulations and, especially, to show glimpses of an ever‐changing exhibition that thrills us day by day.
